Spring Term

In Geography this term we stwe have been studying Mexico. We compared our lives in Bracknell with that of a Mexican family. The Horta family live in a village called Tocuaro. We even got to tatse some Mexican food! We tried guacamole, tortillas, salsa and re-fried beans!

In PE this term, we have been lucky enough to have a local football coach in to teach us essetial skills. We have learnt how to stop the ball, dribble and play lots of fun games. In the picture we are playing 'Bombs'. The coach is trying to catch us out, but we are very quick!

In Literacy we have been learning about alphabetical order, Traditional stories, poetry and explanations. We are trying really hard with our spellings and handwriting. Come and see the displays in our classrooms.

In History we are learning about The Great Fire of London. We will know where and how it started, and study Samual Pepys diary.

In Design and Technology we are making puppets! We will be making our very own finger puppet.

Our Science topics this term are Electricity and Forces. In this picture we are trying to complete a circuit so that the buzzer will work.
