How to add a Document Item

To create a new document:
Click the "ADD DOCUMENT" button at the bottom of the Documents Index page. Back to top
Document Category and Sub Category
1. Select either an existing DOCUMENT CATEGORY from the drop down list, or
define a new category by typing in the field below.
(New categories will become available in the drop down list category lists throughout you site once you save this document.
e.g. "Publications"

2. Repeat for the SUB CATEGORY drop down list below.
e.g. "Prospectus 2003-2004"

Title
Enter your document's title e.g. "Admissions Policy". Back to top
Table of Contents
By default, your document will generate a clickable table of contents from the section heading title you enter.

If you don't want to use this feature, check "No"
for the "Would you like a table of contents generated from section headings
to appear at the top of this document?" option. Back to top
Section Titles and Section Content
There are 25 sections in a document.
Use the small field to type the section heading for the portion of the document you are adding. The content should then be added in the larger field below. To save time you can simply cut and paste text from existing Word Processed documents straight into a document section.

Tip: You do not need to fill all 25 sections of your document, simply fill as many as you need to use. Back to top
Saving your changes
When you have added sufficient content to your document's sections, scroll to the top of your document and click the "SAVE ME" button to save your changes.
To view your document, browse to it in the Documents Index. Back to top
Editing an existing document
Locate the document you wish to edit by browsing to it in the Documents Index.
Click "EDIT ME" to edit the document. Make any required revisions.
Scroll to the top of your document and click the "SAVE ME" button to save your changes. Back to top
Deleting an existing document
Locate the document you wish to edit by browsing to it in the Documents Index.
Click "EDIT ME" to edit the document. Click "DELETE ME" to delete the document from the documents section. Back to top
